It Started With Leftovers…..
Be You Outreach Inc., known as Be You, began informally in 2019 with a simple purpose: to not waste any food.
As the outreach continued, it became clear that this was bigger than one person or one act of kindness.
Today, Be You brings together volunteers, community members, and local partners to provide meals and basic necessities to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship throughout the Greater Savannah and Pooler area.
We believe meaningful change doesn't always begin with something big. Sometimes it begins with a meal, a hygiene bag, a conversation, or simply reminding someone that they matter.
Our Mission
Be You is dedicated to restoring dignity and offering hope to the unsheltered by providing meals, basic necessities, and compassionate outreach. We exist to meet immediate needs while empowering individuals to reclaim their sense of self worth, so they can simply be.

We envision a world where every unsheltered person feels seen, supported, and uplifted, regardless of their current circumstances, because everyone deserves the basics.

A Note From Our Founder
Be You has always been about more than giving things away. It's about people.
I started serving because I saw a need and knew I could do something, even if what I had to offer seemed small. Over time, I learned that small acts of kindness can create a much bigger impact than we realize.
My hope is that Be You continues to grow without ever losing the heart behind why it started: seeing people, serving people, and reminding them that they matter.

Be You Outreach Inc. is a registered Georgia nonprofit organization currently working toward obtaining 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the IRS.
While we complete this process, our commitment remains the same: showing up for our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and the essentials they deserve.
